I have been with RUSH for 15 months and haven’t looked back. Being involved in the progression of a new salon can be daunting, but the support you receive from each department, whether it being HR, Marketing or our Operations Team is 2nd to none. As is the RUSH training that is available in whatever area you require. RUSH Canterbury is in its 2nd year and is going from strength to strength. We have built and maintained a fabulous client base and have a team of Stylists that we are really proud of. Everyone within the area knows RUSH and what we stand for. Since joining RUSH I have gained a lot more knowledge and understanding of hairdressing. I very much enjoy my training and believe it is the best opportunity for me. I feel I am learning in the best possible way. I think Assistants should join the RUSH Revolution because by being an Apprentice at RUSH you will get the most out of your career. Once you have qualified as a Stylist you can then move on to building your columns, getting promoted, being a Manager, an Educator, Franchisee or even part of RUSH’s Artistic team.

I wanted a change of career in area that allowed me to use my passion for business and management. Being part of the Front of House Team at RUSH has allowed me to do that and I love every minute of it. Being Front of House is much more than answering the phone. I thrive on building relationships with clients, staff and the local community and feel pride in building our business. My role has seen me organize various events as well as the marketing of the salon. It’s exciting, challenging & every day is different and fun. I was nervous before my interview because RUSH is such a great company but everyone was very welcoming and friendly. After I got the job I did a seven day vardering course at the Advanced Academy and got to work with some amazing hairdressers. I learnt so much in just one week. I felt very privileged to be working with such a talented team. I have been with RUSH for 3 months and have already had a promotion and further training. I work with the most amazing team in my salon and can’t wait to see what my future holds with RUSH.
