Become A Superwoman Today

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit screens in the UK on 26th April, marking one of the biggest cinematic moments in history. Bringing together 10 years of films, culminating in a big showdown, this film is set to be one of the highest, if not THE highest, grossing films of all time.

The cast is ridiculous and stars more than 30 of Hollywood’s biggest names, and whilst comics in general tend to veer towards male leads, Avengers; Infinity War does contain some of our favourite actresses. Whilst their on-screen characters may sometimes look vastly different to what they do in real-life, with some being non-human, these actresses have certainly shown us some great hair styles.

Here we show some of our favourite looks to inspire you before the film hits the big screen later this month and help you get hair like a real-life Superheroine;

Elizabeth Olsen plays the ‘powered’ Scarlett Witch, and as her name suggest, the character likes to don a lot of red, including her hair being a lovely fiery shade. In real life, Elizabeth, younger sister of the Olsen Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, has a lovely natural shade of blonde, perfectly styled here with a subtle beach wave.

Zoe Saldana

First starring in the hit Guardians of the Galaxy, and it’s sequel, Zoe Saldana’s character Gamora is an alien who is green-skinned. She does have a lovely dark to red balayage in the films however. Out of character, Zoe embraces her natural colour and, like Ms. Olsen, has a soft frizz, targeted at the ends of her hair.

Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan portrays Zoe Saldana’s on-screen sister, Nebula. She’s blue and bald. When not in costume, and without the bald cap, Karen, who also starred in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, has a lovely shade of red to her hair.

Danai Gurira

It was an honor to present an award at the @NAACPImageAwards last night. Even sweeter was commemorating MLK Day by witnessing the fruit of his legacy in so many talented artists and creatives who are working diligently to keep his dream alive. It was Dr. King who said “No work is insignificant. All Labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” Congratulations to all the winners and nominees!

Danai Gurira, also know for her role in The Walking Dead, where she has long dreadlocks, shaved her head for her role as Okoye. AS you can see from this picture, she has started to grow her hair back but also really rocks the short look.

Cobie, who rose to fame starring in How I Met Your Mother, plays S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Maria Hill, is probably the only character to have similar hair in real-life as she does in the film. Here she has it styled beautifully with waves throughout.
