How To: Blushing Bow

Ever wondered how to get a gorgeous high bun in the shape of a bow? Have no fear, Rush HQ is on hand to show you the way and get you glammed up and ready for the weekend.

You will need:

• Your trusty Tangle Teaser
• A hair elastic
• A selection of hair pins and kirby grips
• A dash of Goldwell Big Finish hairspray

 Step 1:

Scoop all of your hair up into a pony tail position and pull it through the elastic once.

Step 2:

After twisting the band, flick the pony forwards over your head. Take hold of the base of the pony and pull half of it through the elastic. This will create a small bun which leaves the ends poking out and sitting along the top of your head. Wrap the elastic around the bun once more to secure it in place.

Step 3:

Separate the bun in the centre by gently pulling each half to its own side

Step 4:

Take hold of the ends of your hair and fold them backwards over the centre parting of the bun and down against where your hair elastic is.

Step 5:

Clip them in place, tucking away any loose strands to create the smooth centre section of the bow.

Step 6:

Lightly spread each side of the bun to help it take the shape of a well-rounded bow loop.

Step 7:

Clip the base of each loop to the top of your head to keep them in place.

Step 8:

Finish you look with a spritz of hairspray and you’re good to go!
