Our favourite Love Island finalists hairstyles
That’s it, 2 months of being dedicated to a programme are over. Love Island has finished, we would be lying if we said we aren’t devastated. We cannot wait for Series 4, even though Series 3 ended on Monday… Well done to all the islanders, especially Kem and Amber for winning! We wish you the best of luck in the real world and hope to see you in our salons soon! We wrote a blog about the girls who had been dumped from the island so it’s only fair to write one about the finalists!
The 20-year-old Welsh dancer has had her fair share of ups and downs with Essex hairdresser Kem but they made it to the final and won! Amber has very long dark hair and wore it in a range of styles during her time on the island. Our favourite was a top knot half down hairstyle! It requires a little bit of work, but looks gorgeous on her! We have been trawling the internet to find the easiest way to achieve this look as we know no one wants to spend ages on a hairstyle. First start by brushing any knots out of your hair (we recommend using a Skinny Dip Tangle Teezer). Next, section your hair above your ears, then scrape back as tight as you wish depending on your chosen look and style and secure with a Popband. After you have done this, twist the hair and then wrap it in a bun and finish it with a Popband. We recommend the glitter ball pack as it takes your hairstyle from day to night.
Olivia has made quite an impact on the lovable Chris during Love Island. The 26-year-old model has divided the office over the duration of the programme – love her or hate her, Olivia has been brilliant. We would be lying if we said we weren’t jealous of the length of her hair! To achieve this super straight look we recommend a Brazilian blowdry as it lasts for up to 14 weeks. A Brazilian blowdry is a great alternative to straightening your hair daily, suitable for all hair types, and effective for chemically damaged hair. Alternatively, if you have short hair and want longer hair why not opt for hair extensions? A selected few Rush salons offer Balmain Hair extensions. Find your nearest Rush salon today!
The 27-year old who specializes in explosive ordnance disposal didn’t win Love Island, but she has won both the nations hearts and ours! Camilla looked glamorous at all times, even though her eyelashes sparked a nationwide debate on Twitter, which Chloe Crowhurst later confirmed she did them herself! Our favourite Camilla hairstyle was when she wore it half up half down in the yellow dress. The hair that was left down was curled tightly at the bottom, it looked so elegant and really suited her. The best way to copy Cam’s curls would be to use the ghd curve curling wand. To achieve this colour we recommend a Balayage or an Ombré! Luckily for you, our salons have an offer on this Summer! The 25-year-old personal trainer found love with ex-Blazin Squad star, Marcel during her time on Love Island. She didn’t always have the smoothest of rides but made it to the final! Gabby definitely wasn’t afraid to try new hairstyles during her time in the villa, see the image below. We secretly love the space buns, they are such a fun hairstyle and really represent Gabby’s personality! They aren’t the easiest hairstyle to replicate from Love Island but thank goodness for YouTube tutorials. Out of all of the finalists, Gabby was definitely the one to experiment with her hair – she reminds us of Baby Spice! To complete the Space Bun look of why not finish the look off with a pack of Kate Popbands?
