Hi Jessica, tell us about yourself? What did you do before becoming a Rush franchisee?

My Name is Jessica, I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in England for just over 11 years now. I fell in love with York the minute I laid my eyes on it. My Husband and I, who are from Yorkshire, feel that we couldn’t have chosen a better place to bring our children (Emily and Lucas) up.

What attracted you to Rush? – Why did you decide to franchise with Rush?

The first thing that attracted me to Rush was the hairdressing awards they have achieved and how keen they are on training and development for all of the members of staff. The more I got to know the brand, the more I liked the idea of having my own Rush salon and as soon as we had our first meeting with Andy, we knew that Rush was the perfect franchise for us!

How have you found the franchising process?

The process has been absolutely brilliant, the support we have received is amazing! Every single detail is thought of and well planned.

What made you choose York to open your Rush salon?

York is an absolutely beautiful city, the scenery and historical building’s are breath taking. With the love that we have for York, it just made sense opening our salon here.

What can customers expect from the new York salon?

At Rush York our aim is to give our clients the best experience they can get in a Hair salon, from great customer care to a fantastic Hair service. We want our clients to come out feeling absolutely beautiful and confident. Every client is special.

How would you describe your new salon team?

Choosing the right team will be a very important part for the salon opening, they will be full of passion, have a lot of ambition and be very creative. Their priority is to give the clients the best service and keep up to date with new trends and techniques.

What are you looking forward to most about having your own Rush salon?

I’m very excited about opening my own salon and having the name Rush above my doors will just make it more perfect! I’m also really looking forward to meeting our clients and to watch my team grow in their skills and development. This will make for a really happy working environment which will should encourage the clients to come in and make the salon a bigger success.
