Rush at Milan Fashion Week A/W15

The fashion trends that emerged from Milan Fashion Week were amazing, but it’s the hair and beauty looks on the runway that we kept our eyes peeled for. Workshop Team member, James Oxley, gives us behind the scenes access to Milan Fashion Week assisting Kenna of Kennaland London for Au Jour Le Jour A/W15 Fashion Show.

The hair was to be soft, with minimal product use with an impeccable blow dry. The left side was kept flat to the head by a braid from behind the ear. There was also a small scalp braid running right from the crown of the head, loose off the scalp. The look was kept fresh and not too contrived.

The look:
70’s rockers with a slight nod to David Bowie, the braid gives it added detail and contrast to make the look more modern and current.

The show was beautiful, but strong with models exuding elegance and power in their walk. The playfulness really came through with the use of bright primary colours for an A/W show, and clothes tailored so precise. The hair was what every woman dreams of, fashion forward, effortless and fresh. Bringing out the youthful, naive side of a strong woman”

Beautiful yet powerful fashion is still gracefully hurtling down the catwalks of Milan. Be powerful, this is the dance floor of your life. Young, beautiful and FUN!
