We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this season’s most stylish event, Stylist Live. As the hair partner to Ford, we brought back our popular Braid Bar for four days of fashion, cocktails, culture, catwalks and talks.
From Thursday 15th – Sunday 18th October, the festival was hosted by the fabulous Edith Bowman and Dawn O’Porter and attracted London’s most fashionable, querky and adventurous! The Business Design Centre in Angel, London, transformed into a world of fashion. A selection of pop- up boutiques, street food, hair & beauty tutorials, celebrity Q&As and more lit up the room.

Attendees were first greeted by the incredible Ford Fiesta Stylista stand, it simply was not hard to miss! The stand was divided into 3 sections, the runway – to showcase the stylists and talks, the Rush Braid Bar and a Nail Bar by Jessica Nails (available at Rush Beauty). Ford and Stylist Magazine hosted an amazing competition to find the next top stylist in fashion. The music was turned up and the room came alive every time the finalist’s models strutted the catwalk to exhibit their looks. Our talented Creative Team led by Editorial Director, Tina Farey transformed their hair to reflect three themes, Décor Dressing, Sweet & Sour and 80’s Glam.

The competition was tight but entertaining and inspiring. We would like to extend a massive congratulations to the winner Sarah Mikaela, founder of blog Framboise Fashion.

The Rush Braid Bar

After a successful debut at the Emerald Street event, our Braid Bar was a hit once again! We manned four Braiding Stations offering three braid looks for a customer to choose from, all using the Rush Salon Collection by Marks & Spencer.

Amongst up-dos, our star team of hair stylists, Workshop Team Members and our Art Team created the hottest braids; The Braid Away, Double Fishtail Braid, Chainmail Braid. The crowd soon became a sea of braids and we know our job was done!
