TINA FAREYS AVANT GARDE COLLECTION WINS AIPP AWARD

 

The international trade press congregated in Paris recently for the 2010-2011 AIPP Awards  (Association Internationale Presse Professionnelle Coiffure). The awards recognise excellence in photographic work and in 2010 received 283 collections from 24 countries around the world.

RUSH Editorial Director, Tina Farey beat off stiff competition to win the AIPP Best Avant-Garde Photographic Collection for her Cyber-8 images. The judges commented on her exciting portfolio as a “futuristic collection researching new and original ideas with stunning colours & creative patterns.”

“It’s a fantastic award to win. It’s a great accolade for Tina Farey, who did our Avant-Garde collection, she is very, very proud to receive this award. She is an amazing hairdresser and I’m really glad she has received this very important acknowledgement,” added Stell Andrew.
