Style your hair this Christmas using Popbands

The Christmas party season is upon us! Everyone understands the stress and panic when it comes to finding an outfit for Christmas parties, but at least with Popbands you won’t have to worry about your hair!

Some people may think that having your hair up isn’t glamorous enough for a party, but why?  It doesn’t have to be a simple ponytail, why not go for something more adventurous? We have pulled together a range of simple yet elegant hair up styles. All of the looks can be finished with a gorgeous Popband to compliment your look!

Simplistic Bun

The first Christmas party look is a bun. For the Christmas Party season at Rush, we recommend a simplistic bun. Buns are very easy to do, so won’t take a lot of time out of your busy Christmas schedule! Firstly start the look by using your straightening irons, this will ensure your hair is sleek and shiny- and ready to go! After you have completed this task, pull your sleek shiny hair into a ponytail using your Popband. Pin half of the ponytail into a bun, and with the remaining hair, wrap them around the bun in the opposite directions. Finish the look with hairspray to keep the hair in place.

Fishtail Braids

Braids are everywhere at the moment. One of our favourite types of braids are the classic fishtail braids. To begin the look, first start by putting your hair into a ponytail. Tie your hair up with your Popband, there are so many to choose from and you can match it with your outfit! After you have tied your hair into a ponytail, split it into two even sections. Separate a small section of your hair from the outer edge and cross it over to the opposite side. Tighten the plait and repeat. Take a small section from the other side. Once you’ve woven your hair down to the ends, tie the braid with your Popband.

Sleek Ponytail

Start by brushing your hair and gathering it from below the crown, as you brush it, make sure you are smoothing it on the front and sides. Once you have done this, tie your hair together with a Popband of your choice. Apply a tiny bit of serum to the sides of the hair, this will make sure your hair stays in place to create the sleek ponytail look. Finish the look with a spritz of hairspray.
