We are excited to be taking part in Bad Hair Day this Friday! This will be not only one of the most fun but one of our biggest fundraising dates this year. All of the Rush salons involved in HAIRraising will be taking part by wearing crazy hair styles to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. To incorporate Rush’s 20th anniversary our salon staff are planning to take inspiration for their bad hairstyles from the years 1994 to 2014. Think bangs, crimped locks and dodgy perms.

Rush Hair & Beauty have been supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity since 2008. During that time Rush have raised an impressive £100,000 for the charity through the HAIRraising fundraising campaign, a fantastic initiative that is being driven by the hairdressing industry.

We’re asking everyone to join us in our HAIRraising appeal by taking part in Bad Hair Day or popping into one of our salons to support our staff on Friday 28 February 2014.

These are some of the things that you can do to take part in Bad Hair Day and raise money for HAIRraising:

  • Get inspiration from a celebrity that has had some eccentric hair styles, like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj or the Spice Girls.
  • To incorporate our 20th anniversary you can take inspiration from bad hairstyles from the years 1994 to 2014.
  • Hold a Bad Hair Day raffle in your workplace, school or college
  • Wear a wacky wig
  • Bake a Bad Hair Day themed cake
  • Add a few colourful extensions to your hair
  • Dye your hair purple

Rush is keen on continually contributing to making a difference to the lives of young patients and their families, we hope with your support that we can continue to do so for some time.
