New salon, Rush Chelmsford is now open!

Rush’s latest salon opened in Chelmsford on Saturday 27th February. We welcome new franchisees to the Rush family, Billy and Holly who opened the doors to their stunning 3 floored salon on the busy high street in the town centre.

Billy and Holly were joined by Rush Co-Founders Andy Phouli and Stell Andrew for the salon opening.

The salon has a modern yet homely rustic feel to it, with 3 separate treatment rooms on each floor. Starting from a modern entrance retail area featuring with L’Oreal retail screens and a bespoke consultation area. The downstairs area has black glossy tiles and dark panelled walls, upstairs leads to a bright open space with rustic wooden ceiling panels.

I meet with new franchisee, Billy about his new salon opening.

Hi Billy, tell us about yourself, why did you decide to become a Rush franchisee?

“I’ve been a hair stylist for over 20 years working all over London, I’ve managed and owned my own salon in the past. I decided to franchise with Rush because I wanted a new change, to be part of a bigger team and successful brand. I wanted to join Rush because I strongly believe in the brand’s philosophy and after meeting the directors I felt confident going into business with Andy and Stell and being part of the growing Rush family.”

Why did you choose to open your new salon in Chelmsford?

“Chelmsford is an amazing city, the salon is in a beautiful old building right in the middle of the town centre. There is a lot of friendly and lovely clientèle in the area and I feel Rush will do really well here. I’m looking forward to bringing a new style of glamorous London hairdressing to the area.”

What are your new team of stylists like in Rush Chelmsford?

“My new team is fantastic and we’re all working really well together. Just before we opened, the Rush Artistic team came up from London for two weeks and trained myself and my whole team to serve, cut and colour the Rush way. The team are all feeling so motivated and excited to put everything we’ve learnt with our new clients in Chelmsford.”

What are you looking forward to most about having your own Rush salon?

“I’m looking forward to becoming the best salon in town! I’m excited to work creatively with my team and giving clients a high end, personal experience when they come to the salon. We’ve already had some great feedback from clients and are looking forward to building regular clients in Chelmsford. We are very committed to providing each and every client with a bespoke consultation and a fantastic 5* hair service. Every client will feel personally attended to and build a good relationship with their stylist.”
