The one thing everyone is dreaming for… smooth skin. We are going to break down some of the simple things you can do to achieve your skin goals.

Exfoliate

Exfoliating your skin helps to keep it silky soft. It unclogs pores and buffs away dead skin cells to reveal smoother and brighter skin. It is advised that you exfoliate your skin two to three times a week as you don’t want to strip your skin of its natural oils which can leave it feeling dry and irritated.

Double Cleansing

One of the most important parts of your skincare routine should be double cleansing. The first cleanse will remove any makeup, dirt and excess oils from the day. The second cleanse gets much deeper in to your skin and lets the cleanser properly clean your pores, leaving your skin fresh and nourished.

Skin icing

Simply wrap an ice cube in a thin cloth or put a facial massage tool in the fridge before you use it and massage your face in circular motions. This will help to minimise pores, calm acne, and reduce signs of ageing.

Top Tip: don’t forget about the area around your eyes as this will help reduce puffiness!

Regular facials

By treating yourself to regular facials your skin will reap the benefits of professional products and advice. Facials can help to boost blood flow and promote cell turnover which is the best way to maintain smooth skin. At Rush we have a variety of facials which target different skin concerns.
