Rush Hairdressers Guildford

I’ve visited this salon several times since it reopened in Guildford, and I’ve always had my hair done by Emma. Despite always leaving really happy, I somehow never got around to writing a review – but after today’s appointment, I felt I absolutely had to. For context, I recently tried another salon near my workplace because it seemed convenient at the time. Unfortunately, I really wasn’t happy with the result, particularly the yellow tones in my hair, and I genuinely thought it would take several appointments to get it back to where I wanted it. Emma worked her magic in just one visit. She completely brought my hair back to life – the shade is absolutely perfect and the trim is so sharp and beautifully done as always. You can immediately see the quality and professionalism in her work. What I especially love about Emma is how humble she is. She is incredibly talented at what she does, but she never makes a big show of it. She listens, understands what you want – even when, like me, you only give her a very basic brief – and somehow just gets it right every time. There’s never any pressure to convince you that you should love the result, the work simply speaks for itself. That’s actually one of the main reasons I wanted to leave this review. I noticed there aren’t many reviews specifically mentioning Emma, and she absolutely deserves the recognition. If you’re looking at the stylist list and aren’t sure who to book with, definitely give Emma a try. I genuinely don’t think you’ll regret it. I do feel slightly guilty for “cheating” on her with another salon 😂 but if anything, it made me realise what an absolute diamond I already had. Safe to say, I won’t be going anywhere else again. Jenna did such an amazing job on my girlfriend's hair. It completely transformed her and uplifted her mood and she's feeling like herself again. Bonus points for Jenna allowing me to sit next to my girlfriend whilst she worked on her hair.

The staff in this salon are so lovely and this is the place I have been happiest with my hair! You can really trust them to get it right and listen to your vision, matching the colour really carefully to what suits you most. I really recommend this salon if you value good customer service :)

We came over from San Francisco, California, for a wedding and booked blowouts and curls with Jenna and Jessie. They were absolutely amazing! Not only did they do a fantastic job with our hair, but they were also so much fun to chat with. They made us feel so welcome, and the whole experience was relaxed, friendly, and full of laughs. Our hair turned out exactly how we wanted, and it lasted beautifully throughout the wedding. The only downside is that we live back in America otherwise, Jenna and Jessie would definitely be our regular hairstylists! Thank you both for making us look and feel our best. We can’t recommend you enough!

Thank you to Jenna and Rosie 💖 These are the loveliest girls, they really listen to what you want, take the time to do a proper consultation without rushing you like some hair salons do and they really care about getting it right. I had a balayage done by Jenna and a gloss and then toner with Rosie and they were both amazing. Rush really care about hair health too and they did lots of conditioning masks to help with my hair condition. Thank you Jenna and Rosie 💖💖💖

I booked an appointment for my girlfriend to have her hair done (I think it was highlights, but I'm not entirely sure!). Jenna did an excellent job from start to finish. She was attentive, professional, and made sure my girlfriend was happy at every stage of the process. The results were fantastic, and my girlfriend was delighted with her hair. I would highly recommend Jenna—she is a real asset to the salon.
