Rush to Open New Salon in Dorking

We’re taking our newest salon to Dorking! On Saturday 7th November we will be opening our 73rd salon on 10 High Street, Dorking. Taking on a second Rush salon is our award winning Rush Reigate Franchisee Nicola Keith-Jopp.

We couldn’t be more pleased to open another salon with Nicola who has been nominated for British Hairdressing Business Awards – Franchisee of the Year, five years in a row and winning Rush Awards Franchisee of the Year 2014!

The Grand Opening will be an exciting day for customers as they will be treated to bubbly, nibbles, goodie bags and more. If you miss out on the opening, the celebration continues throughout the entire month with enticing opening offers for new clients, as we welcome you to the salon.

Tell us about yourself: What is your professional background? How long have you been working for Rush?

I’ve been in the hairdressing industry for about 17 years. I started my career at Rush Croydon nearly 15 years ago and worked my way through all areas of the salon starting as a stylist, hair consultant, an educator with Rush’s training academy a member of the elite workshop team and opening Rush Reigate.

Why did you decide to open another Rush salon?

I feel like I’ve learnt and achieved a lot throughout my journey with Rush and now I am ready for the next challenge. My passion for developing a salon, its team and delivering exceptional customer service drives me to want to open more salons and put my skills to the test. My goal is to make Rush Dorking another award winning Rush salon.

What are you looking forward to most about having a second Rush salon?

I want to repeat the success of Rush Reigate. I am proud of what I have been able to achieve there and I know that I can replicate it in Dorking. I am looking forward to getting to know new clients in the area plus working with a new set of stylists and moulding them into delivering the best service in Dorking.

Tell us about your new salon location: Why did you choose the Dorking area?

I chose Dorking as it is a beautiful, friendly community that I am very familiar with. There’s definitely clientele in the area who are looking forward to having a Rush salon close by. Plus, my two salons, Reigate and Dorking can support each other closely as a team as they are nearby.

What can customers expect from the new Rush Dorking salon?

I am very excited as Rush Dorking will be very unique! The salon is designed with a bespoke rustic, vintage feel with of course a touch of elegance. We’ve taken influence from the style of an old British village with wooden panelling, and perfect lighting to set the atmosphere.

How would you describe your new salon team?

My stylists are very passionate about what they do. Trained by Rush, they are able to create the latest trends and provide impeccable customer service. I am looking forward to introducing my new team to Dorking!
